Grandma Afton turnes 80!!!


I think Lucille Ball said it best when she said....“The secret to staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age.”  HOWEVER...my mother-in-law doesn't need to hide her age...she does it well all on her own!!! 80!!! NO WAY...more like 69 and holding!!! For Afton's birthday we secretly gathered in Eagle Mnt for a little surprise....it really was...well until they put VALERIE in charge of delaying them coming in the house....she was told...watch for grandma and grandpa and don't let them in the house...LOL...that is what she did by saying "Wait! You can't go in they are still wrapping your presents!!!" LOL...tooo funny! I told uncle trent...that with my Val you must MUST be way more specific...lol..she is only 6 and she well..she is my Valerie!!! And if you know her you get that! lol.... ANYWAY!!! Mom J. was pleasantly pleased, she didn't want a big fan fair for her 80th day because she wanted $$$ to go to HAWAII!!! I just hope that when I am 80 (if I make it to that age) I will at least WANT to leave my HOUSE...let alone travel!!! A few weeks later off to Hawaii she went along with Dad J, her 90 year old sister Virginia,  her 70 year old sister Gloria (sorry ladies for entering your ages...but when you hit those #'s and PARTY like you do...BE proud of that age! lol...) and nieces Seri and Connie (lol...won't enter their ages...because I don't KNOW them! haha!!!) ... I sure am amazed by these chicks...
 Niece Connie, Sister Gloria, Niece Seri, (friend they met on ship) BIRTHDAY GIRL, Aunt Virginia...seriously are the AWESOME or what!!!

The BOY's....the only women in this group....Rhett, Lance, Trent, Kirk, Bren, Max...Mom and Dad.... Pretty awesome lookin' bunch!! :)

After all those boys Mom finally gets girls....GRANDDAUGHTERS...here are a few of them.... (l-r, Lacey, Grandma, Kat, Ashley, Jen, Kayli, Valerie, Jentrie, Chan...missing...Leah & Brilee, Callie, and Granddaughter-In-Laws  Nikki, Ashley and Devon....Cute little bunch of gals!
