Dallin's Birthday.....

Okay, I am finally getting the pictures downloaded and posted from Dallin's Birthday...I am thinkin' he had a really great day!  Well he did say as he went off to bed..."thanks mom, this was a super great day!"

I went took him out of school at 11:30 to meet Rhett for a Birthday Lunch at Subway...HE loved that!!!!

$5.00, $5.00 foot long....lol (singing it in my head!) heehee!

PRESENTS!!!! as you can see he has cash in hand....he ended up with lots of cash in hand...haha....we got him a ticket to go with his dad and grandpa to the Sportsmans Expo in Salt Lake for the 20th...and all the $ he got is for him to spend on something fun at the Expo (and he got quite a bit!!!)

Birthday Cheer...Sisters and Cousin Hadlee made up a cute cheer complete with this cute little stunt Just for the birthday boy :)

Birthday dinner....Dallin asked for Wings and a Peach Cheese cake...I added baked potato, fresh veggies/salad and chicken breasts! LOL He did get his dad's fabulous wings though...and super yummy cheese cake pie...the whipped cream deflated :( it was big and puffy and pretty...I think the heat from the candles is what did it...but it was still yummy..Uncle Brady told him good choice :) Grandma and Grandpa Jackson came down to help Celebrate.

10 years ago....

(mind you I started this post at 8 pm...it took time finding the pictures...LOL) as I was saying...

I was sitting in Brady's Basketball Banquet...He was a Senior....and the WHOLE time...I was having contractions! 10 years ago.....on March 1st.....at 10 pm...I went to the Hospital to be induced with my first Child...this perfect little boy....

8lbs  21" born at 2:26 pm

Is he CUTE or what...he had a bit of an owie on his check from the forceps....and a cute little cone head from the vacuum...(yes sounds fun I know!...not) BUT...what a Cutie Patootie! We were so very excited to get this little boy! He had quite the fan club waiting in the hallway on the day he was born and came in handy for an excuse for uncle Brady and his pals to skip school! 3 weeks later my cousin Jaxson was born in the same hospital (lived in Ephriam) we have always been great pals (and miss him lots now that he lives in Iowa) 

Dallin is one month old and Jaxson is a few weeks old.....

This is my super cute nephew Houston....and he doesn't like the camera and the fact that I was able get this SMILE is HUGE!!!  My brother Brady came up with Hub in tow all decked out in his Cowboy finery and I knew RIGHT away my camera was screaming at me!!! So in my PJ'S (yes..PJ's) I am running around my back yard snapping shots hoping for the the perfect one (it only took about 30 minutes!! lol!) when I landed this BEAUTY wait...should I call it the HANDSOMENESS....what a little Cutie!!

Go Rhees

This is my nephew Rhees (#12),  he is a Sr. at Kanab High. The above picture was taken over Christmas Vacation in the Kanab/Valley game (Kanab is Rhett's former HS and Valley is mine!) this picture was taken by my friend and awesome Photographer Nan.  Anyway..the whole reason for this post is Rhees was featured in the
Utah Sports Page  I thought it was pretty cool, so I thought I would post about it...

I am so lucky to have 29 (34 if you include the married spouses and 39 1/2 if you include the greats..eek!) nieces and nephews that I can brag about...so proud of them all and their many accomplishments! Congrats Rhees!!

PURE JOY!!!!

Check out the look on her face!!!! I had mentioned to my SIL Kayla that my kids needed to go tubing...so last Saturday, Dallin, Jen, Valerie and I went with my brother Brady, Kayla and their kids up by the Gunnison Water tanks to PLAY IN THE SNOW!!! I captured this look on Valerie's face! It says to me that there is NO greater JOY than the feel of the cold air in your face, the sun shining (it was a beautiful day), the rush of sailing down the hill on a tube and white beautiful SNOW everywhere!!! (not to mention aunt Kayla's lap!!! but she went on her own after a few times with Aunt Kayla!) OF my kids VALERIE ( I believe) had the MOST fun!!!!  Then Dallin and then Jen...Jen doesn't like to crash...but I am going to save that for another post! I loved this picture...I loved the look on Valerie's sweet face...so this post is about HER and HER  JOY!  *for more fun filled tubing pictures click on the post title :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!!!!

We had a fun and uneventful New Years! Bren, Lisa, Chan, Ash, Mavin & Jackson all came over for fingerfoods (my hubby rocked the hot wings!!!! YUM!)  and a visit. At midnight (well 11:30) we did the Jackson New Years Tradition of Waffles and Ice cream!! Another YUM! It was nice to be home and to just relax with those ya love. Our group was small this year...and we missed those that couldn't come. Jen was the only child who DIDN'T fall asleep at any point of the night, but Chan joined her in the waffle fest :)  Dallin was totally ticked I didn't wake him...but in the defense of mom....Dad did wake him and walked him to his room and he didn't even open an eye lid! lol!!!!  I hope everyone had the BEST New Year EVER and That 2010 will be the best THERE has ever BEEN! (lol...the only thing I could think of that RHYMED!) lol! I am hoping for many GREAT and POSITIVE Changes!!!! :)
