"A Child

will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, home happier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for."

3rd Nephi 17:21-23 "And when he had said these words, he wept, and the multitude bare record of it, and he took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them. And when he had done this he wept again; And he spake unto the multitude, and said unto them; Behold your little ones.."

Fruits of our garden

Okay...so this may be kind of corny...but YUMMMM!! Our little garden is a bit sad looking, but hey we (more like Rhett) tried! However...Our tomatoes are so good and as Jentrie put it..."OH these are so much better than the ones from the store!!" Rhett said Sunday after picking a few ears of corn for dinner that he was totally humbled by our neighbors garden..it is so pretty. It is immaculate! I really makes ours look sad - more like a giant weed patch..next year!! Our squash is a bit sad..we only have 1 plant that the garden gofer didn't eat (it also ate the cucumbers - but our neighbors cucumbers are so yummy...oh, it also ate the garlic) so we only get maybe one small squash a week, thank heavens for Bro. & Sister Stewart who have ooodles of summer squash and shares....Soon our tomatoes will be red and I'll be able to make salsa and marina sauce..yea! The potatoes did very well and are also yummy..we just didn't plant enough. The peppers will be ready to pick very soon..We didn't plant corn, however most of our neighbors did and they also share...a few of them grow gardens just because they have wonderful green thumbs and love to plant, but as Bro. Grimshaw said he always plants more than they need :) I just love this time of year...the smell of fresh produce. I can't wait until next month to buy peaches and apples! Yea for late summer and early fall -- harvest time! 'D & C 59:17 ) Yea, and the herb, and the good things which come of the earth, whether for food or for for raiment, or for houses, or for barns, or for orchards, or for gardens, or for vineyards; 18) Yea, all things which come of the earth, in the season thereof, are made for the benefit and the use of man, both to please the eye and to gladden the heart; 19) Yeah, for food and for raiment, for taste and for smell, to strengthen the body and the to enliven the soul...'

Peyton (w/horse) playing with his little buddies Kaden
(dark hair) and Jakie (middle) What is it with little boys and dirt and trucks
and guns and stick horses hunting the bad guys or looking for deer..they played so good (only a few disagreements-but nothing major) and only one bonk on the swing set...however the day is just starting :)

Rhett's 15th GVHS School Picture...

I can't believe Rhett has taught here 15 years...It is strange to have his former students with children the same ages as ours...who are also good friends...Kayla was a 7th grader when Rhett first started at Gvhs, now she is my sister inlaw! He has 4 former students who help him coach football...Cody Dyreng, Greg Bartholomew, Brady (my bro) and Fonz (Zack Sorenson). It also a big weird that some of his former students are now my friends because of our kids..(and scrapbooking:) who would of thunk it! :) He has received his Masters Degree, put a house together, 4 kids, church callings, and now his Admin. Endorsement (plus basketball and radio) Can you turn rocks into Gold babe? Where would you find the time? Plus he puts up with me :) Love you Babe!!! Your are the best and I am so glad you are MiNe!

My Baby

My little Bubba (aka Peyton)...I cannot believe he is nearing 3 1/2! We have succeeded in potty training, disposing of the binki, and learning to ride a bike...he has also picked up lovely words like fart, butthead and I don't have to! (Oh the JoYS!) The greatest is when he says "I love you Mommy!" and I say "How much" Peyton says "Too the MOON and Back BABE!" ...It's my fav! What a joy our children are...this little guy just completed it!

LiFe's A JuNglE...or a bArRel of MoNkEy'S

LIfe iS a JuNglE! And ours is FuLl of MoNkEy'S! Hadlee has suction cups on the ends of her feet and climbs right up, would like to swing from the branches---but I wouldn't let her! :) Houston tried real hard to get up the trunk...he was getting quite ticked that his legs wouldn't do what his mind wanted him too. Valerie would like to have suction cups on her feet...but mom had to do some helping to get her in the tree, then life was great! And Bubba...he just wanted to stay there :) I think these 4 are cute little monkey's!
