"A Child

will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, home happier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for."

3rd Nephi 17:21-23 "And when he had said these words, he wept, and the multitude bare record of it, and he took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them. And when he had done this he wept again; And he spake unto the multitude, and said unto them; Behold your little ones.."

Utes & Cougars.....

Anytime now!!!! The opening was awesome! My first really big College Football game!!! I feel like a little kid! (Sorry SUU and Snow games just don't count....)

Okay...it was a little odd this year cheering against the Coug's...but in all seriousness, we have good reasons (for those who believed us to be traitors...)

*1. Thanks to Jeff Rudy who is on the Ute Staff for getting us on the 'Coaches' list.....of course we are not going bite the hand that fed us!!!!

*2. The Ute's had more to loose and more to gain...the only team in line for a chance at a BCS title.

*3. No matter what win or loose the Cougs are going to Vegas. We are all from Utah...let's support the team going the furthest!

It wasn't big of a deal to wear red for me because it really is my favorite color and I wear it often (just not at our games...lol) I would get fired! But it was hard for Rhett...he doesn't have any! He had to borrow a coat from Brenan and was just glad it didn't say 'Manti' on it...heheheee. I was seriously overwhelmed by the crowed...46,886 people...amazing! I also haven't ever seen so much red!!! The only bummer of the whole night was the Tracks....some duffus Utah fan was toasted and had a nasty mouth and wouldn't leave this one BYU couple alone. Other than that....WE had a TON of fun and were so grateful to all of you who made it possible for us to have such a wonderful DATE!!! (you know that outing married couples should go on without children :) The kids stayed in Eagle Mnt with Uncle Trent and Aunt Cindy and cousin Lacey. They had a BALL!! Aunt Cindy will laugh when she finds out that they loved the 'Broccoli with brown vinegar'. To funny.

One day we know you will see the light! lol we have friends that wnat us to go to the bowl game...but going to Washington DC...will put a bit of a stop to that!! It would be fun to be at a national bowl game though...we think we should should play the championship game...but that won't happen...anywhooo....we have had a blast with the win! Chayce has yet to take the U lights off our lawn...and has plastered the Go Utes signs in all out windows...his YM leaders are all BYU..so that has been fun....

I asked the kids if Mack was able to get a job down south would they be okay not going to the games as a tradeoff...they all volunteered their allowance and said that they wouldn't complain one ounce when we had to travel in the cars five hours to get to the games....hmmmmm
