Apples....

(Before) Thanks to my mother in-law and her sweet sister Auntie Gloria, I inherited these wonderful 2 qrt jars!!! TWO QUARTS!! How cool is that! They are really big! I love them. In all reality, I peeled, cored and cut 20 qrts of apples to day (not counting the ones my kids ate along the way!!) Thanks to my neighbor (Sister Grimshaw) for letting me borrow her apple peeler! So here are my 2qrt jars of apples...for...apple sauce, apple pie, apple cake, apple spice cookies, apple cobbler....apple apple apple......Thanks also to my neighbors - the Carter's for the apples!!! Thank You Thank You Thank You!!! (I still have one my bushel to go!)

I also did 3 more qrts of tomato juice, 4 qrts salsa (spicy), 1 qrt apples, 1 pint of apples (had to bottle every last slice!)

This picture of the three different apple jar sizes, it is like the apple jar family. The big one is the 2 qrt (dad); next is the 1 qrt (mom) and last it the pint (child). I could of probably done a 1/2 pint, but I didn't want to peel any more apples just to be silly!!! lol! It is really time for me to go to bed, I am starting to NOT make sense!
